Green chemistry for precision insect control
We pioneer eco-friendly insecticides with unprecedented species selectivity to support sustainable economy and society.

Revolutionizing the insecticide industry
Our mission is to revolutionize the insecticide industry with environmentally safe and highly species-specific molecules. Our technology enables de-novo design of active substances with a desired activity profile towards species of interest, targeting pests without harming the ecosystem and human health.

Insect biodiversity is not just a buzzword
Insects are vital to ecosystems and agriculture, and their ongoing loss poses an imminent global threat. Only a tiny proportion — hundreds — of all insect species (millions) are pests and disease vectors. Yet the economic damage they inflict exceeds US$ trillions. Devastating diseases spread by insects — malaria, sleeping sickness, viroses — threaten half of the world's population.
The insecticide industry is in crisis
Current insecticides, being broad-spectrum, harm the environment and health, prompting global bans due to regulations. However, newer, safer alternatives haven't adequately replaced banned substances. Additionally, insects are growing resistant to even potent insecticides. To address this, we need modern, safer substances with diverse modes of action — replacing old, harmful insecticides with precise, eco-friendly options becomes imperative.
An interdisciplinary approach to modern drug design
We combine the modern drug design, deep learning-powered cheminformatics, protein molecular dynamics modeling, high throughput chemical screening coupled to big data exploration, and parallel medicinal chemistry to develop a new generation of green, precision means of insect control.
Decades of experience under one roof
In Preagon Biotech we brought together decades of experience from structural and chemical biology, medicinal chemistry, small molecules development, cheminformatics, and deep understanding of molecular and developmental insect endocrinology — combined with senior management professionals.
